The mainstream is usually wrong.

After my private training session with my Jiu Jitsu professor the other day, the amount of improvement that happened, as a result, reminded me of how doing things differently is usually the correct move.

One thing I wish I had learned sooner was that the mainstream way of doing things is usually wrong. You either waste an ungodly amount of time, money, and opportunity when you do what everyone else does.

When I was in my senior year of high school I was on the road to flunking out. I spent most of my time ditching classes and had about 3 years that I needed to complete in order to graduate on time. That said, the administration made me attend "adult school."

At first, I was upset. But when I found out that 1.) I could work at my own pace. And 2). I could finish entire semester classes in less than 2-4 weeks... I was in heaven.

What the hell?!!

Why wasn't I told about this before?!!? I wouldn't have wasted my time in high school at all!

That said, I finished about 3 years of classes in less than a year and got my diploma.

Thankfully, I didn't fall for the trap when it came to college, and maybe I'll share how I completed 4 years of college in one and a half years in another email.

It's no different with our clients who use VSAs.

Why spend hours documenting processes and systems in your business when you can spend five-minutes a day?

Why pay someone thousands of dollars to do simple tasks that you can train your VSA to do?

The truth is there are several "shortcuts" you can take in in business in order to make yourself more efficient. These shortcuts will allow you to work less hours for more results... which means higher profits.

The only thing is having an open mind to look for them and the courage to take action on them.
